Webster Talks Recap: Women Entrepreneurs Who Inspire

On April 14, 2025, the LLC Commons at Webster Geneva Campus came alive with energy, ideas and inspiration during a special edition of Webster Talks titled “The Journey of Women Entrepreneurs.”
This dynamic panel event brought together students, alumni, faculty and members of the broader Geneva community to hear firsthand from exceptional women making waves in business, as well as a social impact.
Moderated by Julia Devos, Head of the New Champions Community at the World Economic Forum, the discussion was a masterclass in innovation, resilience and purpose-driven leadership. With her deep experience in global business development and social transformation, Devos guided the evening with powerful questions that brought out both the personal and professional sides of each speaker.
Meet the Panelists
Petra Posselius, co-founder of NonStop Gym, shared how her background in engineering helped her reimagine the fitness industry in Switzerland. With over 40 clubs nationwide, her story exemplified strategic thinking and relentless execution.
Dr. Eleanor T. Khonje, founder and CEO of ETK Leadership Solutions, offered insights on gender equity and empowerment through a sociological lens. Her words resonated deeply with students passionate about inclusive leadership and education.
Rasha Hammad, founder and CEO of Youth Underground, spoke passionately about her mission to combat human trafficking. Her grassroots advocacy and global outreach left a lasting impression on the audience.
The panel discussion was followed by a lively Q&A session, where students and guests engaged directly with the speakers — posing thoughtful questions about entrepreneurship, risk-taking and making a difference. The event concluded with a networking buffet, giving attendees a chance to continue conversations and connect with the speakers and each other.
