We are excited to welcome you to campus. Our orientation takes place one week before classes begin at Webster Geneva Campus.

Cedar Café will be open for breakfast and lunch on Orientation Day. We recommend that you shop for groceries and prepare meals in advance for the week of orientation. Cedar Café will reopen the first week of classes, serving delicious meals daily.

Please note that our New Student Orientation (NSO) is mandatory for all new students. These days will be counted toward the participation portion of their Webster 101 course.

Unireso for Students

To help make transportation more accessible for students, the State of Geneva will fully cover the cost of Unireso subscriptions for people under 25 in training within the Canton of Geneva. Discounts may be available for students over 25. A valid transport ticket will still be required, though the cost will be completely covered.

How to Get Your Unireso Coverage

  1. Create a SwissPass – Registration is free, but you will need to upload a digital photo and a valid ID.
  2. Receive your discount code - If you’ve received a postal letter from the State of Geneva with a discount code, you can use it to obtain your subscription starting Jan. 1, 2025.
  3. Get your subscription - Alternatively, go to a TPG agency or a CFF Travel Center with your letter, ID and SwissPass. Visit the TPG shop or cff.ch/unireso to get your subscription online.

Get Started with WorldClassRoom

Participation in this pre-orientation course is mandatory to ensure a smooth start to the new academic year.

Before your arrival, you will receive an email on your personal account from the Student Services office with the procedure to follow to connect to the WorldClassRoom. Make sure you have given Admissions a valid email address that you can access.

You will need to follow the instructions in the email and log in to WorldClassRoom, where you’ll be registered for a pre-orientation course. It will allow you to:

  1. Upload a portrait photo that will be used to create your student card.
  2. Complete and sign mandatory forms online.
  3. Find out more about our services.
  4. Receive important news via the WorldClassRoom inbox.
