First-Year Freshmen
All first-year freshmen students are required to live in Webster housing. Priority is given to the on-campus Living and Learning Center (LLC) in Bellevue on a space-available basis. Webster also houses students in Center-City Geneva at Les Berges du Rhône, which also houses study abroad students, transfer and master students.
Please complete and return the LLC Housing Application Form to us by email at geneva.housing@webster.edu. We will inform you once your housing has been assigned.
If you will be living with immediate family in Geneva, there is a Housing Waiver Form available for an exception.
Transfer and Master Students
You are not required to live in campus-sponsored housing, but you are invited to reserve a room at our residence Les Berges du Rhône (downtown Geneva). Please complete and return the Les Berges Housing Application Form to us. If you prefer to be on campus in the LLC, please reach out to see if there is space available.
Reminder for Non-Swiss, Non-EU International Students
Booking your housing, whether as a bachelor, transfer or master student can be an important way to show the Swiss Consular Office that you are making firm plans to study at Webster Geneva Campus. This can help to ensure a smooth application process for your student visa.
Next Steps
Return the housing application and proof of payment of the requested CHF 1,000 deposit in order to secure a room. This can be sent together with the CHF 1,500 deposit required to secure your enrollment (CHF 2,500 total). See the Tuition and Housing Deposit form for more information. Please be sure to include your last name and your student ID (from your admission letter) on the bank transfer.
This section will facilitate your arrival to the Webster Geneva Campus. You may be a Freshman (First-Year Bachelor), a transfer student or a Masters student, but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!

The Living and Learning Center at Webster Geneva
The Living and Learning Center (LLC) is Webster Geneva’s on-campus residence, mandatory for freshmen students new to the region, but also open to other students depending on availability. All University and Residential Policies apply there. Contracts are subject to review every semester. Webster reserves the right to terminate a contract if the student violates policy. Upon arrival, all students will sign a contract that binds them to all rules or regulations stipulated in our Student Handbook and Housing Policy Booklet.

- Please understand that your housing request is for space. Webster Geneva reserves the right to determine room assignments and roommates if needed. If a resident vacates a room, the remaining student must be willing to accept another roommate or move to another space when requested by the Residential Life Office staff to do so.
- In some terms Webster Geneva may have more students seeking accommodation than available rooms. There may be times when shared rooms become a necessity for a period of time if demand is greater than available rooms.
- Webster Housing is not available before or after the designated arrival or departure dates, so please arrange alternative accommodation if you plan to come early or stay longer.
- Accommodation both on and off campus, depends on space availability.
- Residents are highly encouraged to subscribe to Personal Liability Insurance at a cost of approximately CHF100 per year.
- Please respect the application deadline. Accommodation cannot be guaranteed to late requests for housing.
- Assistance will always be given to accommodation seekers.
Geneva’s Living and Learning Center accommodates 49 students to Webster Geneva. Residents will enjoy beautiful views of the Lake Leman and the Alps.
