A student transcript is an official record of a student's academic performance and achievements. Often searched as "academic transcript" or "university grades record," it details courses taken, grades earned and any honors received during one's time at an educational institution.

Definitely! At Webster Geneva Campus, we value diverse educational journeys and warmly welcome students who've had a study gap or taken an academic break. Understanding that life events can lead to educational pauses, we ensure flexibility in our admissions process. Accreditation plays a vital role in evaluating educational quality, with two primary types in higher education: Institutional and Program Accreditation. At Webster Geneva Campus, we proudly hold both. Our Institutional Accreditation is from the esteemed Higher Learning Commission (HLC), garnering global recognition and setting us apart from many private Swiss institutions. This recognition extends to graduates who've pursued advanced studies worldwide. Additionally, Program Accreditation guarantees the quality and value of specific programs, ensuring a well-rounded education.

Absolutely. Thanks to our Institutional Accreditation, which all Webster international campuses possess, our degrees hold global recognition. This recognition ensures that a bachelor's or master's degree is recognized by both employers and universities, on a case-by-case basis. For more detailed information, please contact the Webster Geneva careers office where we would happily provide evidence of alumni who have been admitted to public universities in Switzerland and internationally. Alternatively, our careers department has a long list of reputable employers for those pursuing a professional career during or after their studies.

HLC, the Higher Learning Commission, accredits institutions rather than specific programs. In the case of Webster Geneva Campus, the institution itself is accredited by HLC, ensuring the quality and standards of all its programs. Webster Geneva Campus has significant specialized accreditations and designations, including programmatically, in Geneva and globally. Globally, Webster Business and Management Programs are accredited by the American based Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) since 2008. ACBSP is dedicated to improving the quality of business schools and programs around the world and ultimately to improving the practice of business in every industry around the world. Locally, the Master of Arts in Counseling is fully accredited by the Swiss Association for Counselling (referred to as Association Suisse de Conseil, in French and Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Beratung, SGfB, in Swiss German). This allows Webster Geneva Campus master’s students to pursue the status of Members in Training SGfB, until receipt of their degree when they will become Active Members SGfB.

IELTS stands out as a commonly preferred choice, although we accept results from all internationally recognized English exams.

At Webster Geneva Campus, students with documented disabilities may be eligible for adapted accommodations. We are committed to equal educational opportunities and strive to provide the necessary support for academic success among students with disabilities. This inclusive approach fosters a learning environment where all students can excel academically.

Upon your arrival in Switzerland, it's essential to apply for your Student Permit within 14 days. After registering at the cantonal migration office, please keep in mind that the permit processing might take a few weeks. During this period, you may receive a temporary document to maintain your legal status in Switzerland.
