- Graduates are expected at 1:30 p.m.
- Guests can enter the registration hall at 1:45 p.m.
- Proceedings begin at 3 p.m.
This year’s graduation ceremony is followed by a Garden Party at Webster Geneva Campus from 5 p.m..

Only guests with pre-reserved bracelets can access the ceremony and the Garden Party.
The information on the bracelets pickup will be available on the graduation registration World Classroom site, and will be posted here as well in due time.
Parking at the InterContinental Hotel has limited space available, and requires payment on arrival. We suggest arriving at the venue by taxi or Uber for convenience.
Graduation Reception — Garden Party
Webster Geneva Campus
5–8 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025
(for graduating students and pre-registered guests only)
Graduating students and eligible returning Alumni are invited to a two-hour Garden Party at Webster Geneva Campus after the ceremony. A complimentary shuttle service will be provided for all registered guests, starting at 4:45 p.m. from the Intercontinental Hotel to Webster Geneva Campus (one-way trip only). Bracelets for the Garden Party will be provided at the Guest Registration desk in the hotel lobby, prior to the Commencement ceremony.
This year’s theme for the Garden Party is “Roadmap to Success,” featuring a live band, finger food buffet, service bar, photobooth and exciting interactions with our magician. There will be a few other fun surprises waiting. Bring your cap to the Garden Party — a surprise guest might need it!

Any additional guest is charged CHF 70 per adult (children under 12 may attend free of charge). Register extra guests using the registration link below.

Commencement Regalia
The CHF 200 graduation package includes traditional regalia (cap and gown). The regalia will be provided on the day of the ceremony during student checkin, at 1:30 p.m.
After the Commencement ceremony, the caps and gowns are kept by each graduate student.
- Graduation gowns:
- Undergraduate and graduate students gowns differ.
- Bachelor's degree gowns include a colored stole (see gown in left side of photo), while master's degree gowns feature a colored hood that drapes over the shoulders (see gown in right side of photo).
- The colors correspond to the academic field of your degree.
- Graduation caps:
- The mortarboard caps are new each year and are meant for one-time use.
- These caps are elastic and designed as "one size fits all," allowing you to keep them along with your tassel after the ceremony.

1. Petitions to Graduate
For May degree candidates, Petitions to Graduate are to be submitted by Feb. 14.
2. Release of the Diploma Along with “Student Copy” Transcript
- Formal process in St. Louis (Certification of degree)
- Arrives about 10-12 weeks after degree conferral
- Diploma is released if no holds on student’s account
3. Mailing of Diplomas
- December 2024 diplomas will be mailed mid-March
- March 2025 diplomas will be mailed early May
- May 2025 diplomas will be mailed mid-August
4. Official Transcript Request

- Transcript is released if no holds and the student’s account is paid in full

Requirements:
- Must have a minimum 45 graded credit hours at Webster
- GPA includes any transfer courses used by the student to reach 120 credit hours.
- Because the Webster University permanent student record shows GPA based on Webster University courses only, students should consult a grade point calculator to determine their college career GPA for purposes of University Academic Honors.
Graduate Academic Honors
Students who complete a graduate degree or educational specialist degree (including all required, elective, prerequisite and transfer courses) while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.950 will receive Graduate Academic Honors.

The online registration form is now live. Please make sure to mention the student’s full name when registering.
The Graduation package, at the cost of CHF 200 per student, includes the following:
- Commencement registration bracelets for two guests (blue bracelet).
- Garden Party cocktail reception for two guests (gold bracelet).
- Two-hour wine and softs bar on campus for two guests.
- Cap and Gown (non-refundable).
- Shuttle service from the Intercontinental Hotel to Geneva Webster Campus (one-way only).
Any extra guest will be charged CHF 70, per person.
Entrance to Commencement and the Garden Party is free for children under the age of 12.

A formal photo pack with an external photographer is optional, at the cost of CHF 10 each:

Awards
Graduation Speaker Awards
The annual Graduation Speaker Awards identify and celebrate outstanding graduating students, who have excelled in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership and service to the Webster campus community during their time in Geneva. They are the highest awards bestowed to students by Webster Geneva Campus.
Upon nominating a student, he or she will be contacted to provide additional information which will assist the selection committee in finalization. Nominators will be kept anonymous, and only shared with permission of the nominator if the nominee is selected for the student award and agrees to speak at graduation. Note: Selected students must have been enrolled August 2024 through May 2025, and must maintain eligible academic standing through completion of their coursework.
The deadline for award nominations is Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Undergraduate Student Leadership Award
Awarded to an graduating senior who has demonstrated the most significant combination of academic achievement and leadership as a Webster Geneva student in the following: GPA of 3.5 or greater, significant extracurricular involvement, multi-organizational involvement, community service, and is a positive role model.
Outstanding Graduate Student Award
Awarded to a graduating graduate student from Webster Geneva Campus who has made distinguished contributions to their academic program and/or the student body with a GPA of 3.5 or greater.

All students are required to complete the Alumni Contact Form before their degree is awarded. Please follow the steps in the link available on the Graduation WorldClassRoom course.
You will be considered part of our Webster Alumni community once your degree is awarded. Completing the Alumni form allows us to reach you after the ceremony, and to keep you informed of any special events or activities (in Geneva or online) for alumni.

Walker Joint MBA Program
Students who have completed an ACBSP accredited undergraduate program at Webster within the past 10 years may waive 6 credit hours of electives, reducing the number of required courses to 30 credit hours. The degree can then be completed in as little as one calendar year.
