On April 30, Dr. Oreste Foppiani, Associate Professor of International History and
Politics and IR Department Head, gave a talk on the “Illegal Immigration in the Mediterranean
Sea” at the Queens Campus of St. John’s University. This invited lecture has been
given within the framework of the research project that Foppiani leads at NYU’s Center
for European & Mediterranean Studies, where he is currently a visiting scholar.
