Goodarzi at Syrian Crisis Conference
In late May, the deputy head of the International Relations Department at Webster
Geneva Campus, Jubin Goodarzi, traveled to Berlin, Germany where he participated in
a one-day international conference sponsored by the Heinrich Boell Foundation on the
Syrian crisis entitled "Syria at a Dead End?". Dr. Goodarzi participated in a panel
on the role of regional actors in the conflict, focusing specifically on the involvement
of Iran. In June, he also took part and gave a presentation at a one-day seminar in
Washington, D.C. also dealing with the Syrian conflict organized by the Washington
Institute for Near East Policy.
