Mihalca Research Visit to University of Wuerzburg
Dr. Loredana Mihalca spent the month of July on a research visit to the Department of Instructional Psychology and New Media in the University of Wuerzburg, Germany. This visit focused around collaborative research and the design of a new study on the effects of prior knowledge on metacognitive judgements and self-regulated learning in computer-based environments. Dr. Mihalca, in collaboration with Dr. Christoph Mengelkamp, conducted sophisticated statistical analyses on previously collected data. She was also able to present the research she has conducted at Webster Geneva in front of the Department of Instructional Psychology and New Media.
Dr. Mihalca teaches three undergraduate courses at Webster Geneva: Introduction to Psychology, Personality Theory and Child Psychology, and one graduate course: Research and Evaluation.
