Trivia Night 2015
The third annual Webster Humanitarian Association (WHA) Trivia Night fundraiser took place on Webster Geneva campus on Thursday 5th November. 65 people packed into the Commons Room for a few hours of friendly competition covering trivia topics such as sports, pop culture, general knowledge and a special round featuring questions that aimed to raise awareness about the global water crisis. Over 500 CHF was raised during the event which went to the NGO Water Is Life in their ongoing efforts to bring clean drinking water to the 780 million people in need around the world.
Delicious food and drinks were served throughout the evening thanks to the bar team led by Rafaela Cardona and there were two superb live music performances from Denise Mariano and Julia Handschin who provided some amazing entertainment.
The winning team (Heidi, Paola, Juan, Marriam and Jimmy) collected their prize at the end of the evening along with Zain Abdulla who won the grand prize in the raffle. Special thanks were given to Susan Ross from the Alumni office, Kristina Shimkus and the SGA for donating gift vouchers and Webster apparel for the raffle.
