Commencement Speaker Announced
Webster Geneva Campus will celebrate its Annual Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 7 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Geneva. Over 130 students from 50 nations will be conferred their degrees in presence of their guests, friends and families.
It is our pleasure to announce that Suzan G. LeVine, “Suzi” LeVine , United States Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, will be the Commencement Speaker this year.
Prior to joining the U.S. Government, Ambassador LeVine focused on education in both her professional and volunteer life. From 2006-2013, she served as the co-founder and then chairperson of the advisory board for the Institute for Learning and Brain Sciences (I-LABS) at the University of Washington—a leading research institute. Between 2009-2012, Ambassador LeVine worked at Microsoft Corporation as Director of Strategic Partnerships for Student Developers and Director of Communications for Education.
Appointed by President Barack Obama, Ambassador LeVine took up her duties as United States Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein in June 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Aerospace Applications from Brown University.
The Ambassador is honored to deliver the commencement speech and address the students of the Graduating Class of 2016.
